It is characterized for being simple, flexible and capable of integrating different data sources, such as SAP, Oracle, relational database model and Excel. In addition, since it is based on open source technologies, it offers a cost-benefit ratio that is quite superior to any proprietary alternative.
Tero is based on JEE and Flex, being Dynamicjasper its reporting engine. This is an open source tool developed by FDV Solutions, which is used in more than 156 countries worldwide, with more than 25 thousands downloads. It is also the result of the continuous research conducted by FDV Solutions labs.
If you need to trust the information you receive every day, with early warnings and fully integrated with your corporate systems, then Tero is the solution And not only that, it is also implemented in less than one work-week!
In FDV we have developed the solution for that and it is called Project Guide.
It outstands for being the tool that allows you to register your assignments in just a few seconds. It is ideal for big and agile developments, where each second is better invested in thinking or doing, rather than in boring forms.
Project Guide – through its assistant, Jenna –, makes that the daily task of loading hours be no longer boring. Through Jenna chat, it will ask you about all matters related to the running of your projects and, thus, Project Guide becomes the perfect companion for successfully carrying out each of them.
In turn, it is applicable for final users, as well as project administrators.
“My programmers forget to charge the hours they work for a project. The Excel function seems very little for our daily work.” |
|
In the case of final users, it may be used, as an example, for:
• Ask them about their assignments.
• Ask them about their last consumptions.
• Tell you how they’ve been distributing their time.
In the case of project administrators, it may allow them to:
• Keep the time of the assignments through the organization.
• Keep the estimated time in each project in execution.
• Obtain statistic information regarding use of time
